ABOUT
Dr. Angela Mooss brings more than 20 years of experience in federal grants administration, program evaluation, and applied research. For 12 years she served as CEO of the Behavioral Science Research Institute (BSRI), a Miami-based nonprofit, where she led business development, oversaw a multidisciplinary research and evaluation team, and managed a portfolio of federally and locally funded projects.

Angela specializes in helping organizations secure, manage, and demonstrate the impact of their funding. Her work spans grant strategy and compliance, performance measurement, needs assessments, strategic planning, and mixed-methods evaluation. She has a deep understanding of federal funding structures and has served as a grant reviewer for HRSA, SAMHSA, and the Miami Foundation, giving her firsthand insight into what funders look for. Grounded in implementation science, she focuses on identifying what helps or hinders an organization’s processes and turning data into practical decisions that improve outcomes and accountability.
